Travellers Feedback

The driver Murali is very experienced and helpful during our travel. We had an excellent experience with him. He even accompanied me in the hospital.Overall a very good feeling. Better than what we expected. We thought to get only a driver and the hotels but were treated like KING & QUEEN.We did a hassle free sightseeing. Absolutely it is a good value for the service that we get.We will recommend your services to our family and friends.

Mangaladevi Temple

Its location on the western coast of India between the Western Ghats and Arabian Sea makes Mangalore an important port and a wonderful tourist destination. Like many other parts of Karnataka, this city has religious significance as flaunted by numerous Hindu temples. In fact, the city derives its name from the Mangaladevi Temple dedicated to Goddess Mangala (a form of Shakti).

The temple is a sacred destination for the Hindu pilgrims who are of firm belief of receiving boons from the Goddess. In addition, there are other popular temples in Mangalore, including Sharavu Ganapathi Temple, Shree Shanaishchara Temple, Kudroli Gokarnath Temple and Shree Shanaishchara Temple. Apart from the temples, the city’s captivating beaches too attract the tourists. Someshwar Beach, for example, is visited by the tourists to admire the beauty at sunset. Suratkal Beach is known for its powder-like sand that offers extremely pleasing experience of walking barefoot. Panambur Beach and Malpe Beach too are worth exploring.

Because of its close association with the Europeans during colonial era, the city has many beautiful churches to its credit. St. Aloysious Chapel, Roasario Church and Milagres Church can be visited while on a tour to the city. An interesting construction is the watchtower called Sultan Battery, which is also considered as a small fortress overlooking River Gurpur. Among the wildlife destinations in the city is the Kardi Hill Park which accommodates leopards, jackals, spotted deer, crocodiles and a variety of birds. Other worthwhile city attractions include Light House Hill Garden, Shri Yogishwar Mutt and New Mangalore Port.
