Tea Museum

Munnar in Kerala is one of the largest centers of tea plantations in India. Tata Tea, a prestigious tea making company in the country, has come up with the Munnar tea Museum at its Nallathanni Estate. The museum, for its interesting exhibits and a tea tasting demonstration room, has become a major attraction for the tourists visiting the hill station. Some of the items at display in the museum include the original tea roller and the power generation plant wheel, along with a 2nd century burial urn, iron oven, manual calculators, typewriters and other things of antique value. The visitors can understand various stages of tea processing and can go through old photographs as well.
