Travellers Feedback

Our driver was very friendly and an excellent. He was available whoever we wanted him and suggested places to go. We would highly recommend him. All of our tour guides were very knowledgeable & friendly. "Winnie" even arranged to have a birthday cake for me at the hotel restaurant a nice extra touch. We weren't quite sure what to expect since we had never done a tour like this. This exceeded our expectations and we are already talking about doing a Southern India tour next year.

Full Day Tour of Mumbai

The colonial charm, busy beaches and Bollywood film industry makes Mumbai a preferred Indian tourist destination. Explore the colonial buildings showcasing Neo-classical, Gothic and Indo-Saracen styles in South Mumbai. Visit the Gateway of India, the basalt arch located on the waterfront. It marks the emergence of British Raj in the country and offers a great sight for the tourists.

Other buildings of colonial origin in this part of Mumbai include the High Court and Mumbai University. Have a view of the nearby Taj Mahal Hotel, one of the finest hotels in the world known for its astonishing architectural design. Stroll across the Marine Drive Boulevard that surrounds a natural bay formed by Arabian Sea. It is a wonderful experience to view the buildings built in Art Deco style in this area.

Visit Chowpatty, one of the most popular public beaches in Mumbai and enjoy a variety of mouthwatering snacks like bhelpuri, panipuri and pav bhaji. Later visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, previously called the Prince of Wales Museum, one of the popular Indian museums with Indian as well as foreign items on display. Thousands of exhibits in the sections of art, archaeology and natural history are worth exploring at the museum.

Another interesting attraction of the city is the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (originally called the Victoria Terminus). The UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its enchanting station building representing the Victorian Gothic style of architecture. An iconic attraction of the city is the Haji Ali Dargah, a beautiful mosque built on a small islet. Visiting the mosque and spending some great moments in the peaceful environment is a rewarding experience.

Explore other attractions like Hanging Gardens, Kamla Nehru Park, Flora Fountain, St. Thomas Cathedral and Dhobi Ghat in the city with a knowledgeable guide. Juhu Beach is another place, well-known as the home to renowned Bollywood celebrities.
