Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Arrive at New Delhi airport and meet our tour executive. Transfer to your hotel and have an overview of the Rajasthan classical tour on the way.
Day 02 : Delhi
Get ready for Old Delhi sightseeing after breakfast. Visit the popular monuments like Red Fort (closed on Mondays) and religious places like Jama Masjid and continue driving to Raj Ghat the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated Have a glimpse of the centuries old face of the city on a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk bazaars. Later move to New Delhi that showcases the modern structures and lifestyle of the residents, along with ancient monuments. Visit Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Lotus temple (also known as Bahai Temple), Akshardham Temple (closed on Mondays) and other attractions. Get back to the hotel for night stay during Classical India tour.
Day 03 : Delhi/ Mandawa (260Kms/6hrs)
Start the trip to Mandawa, the very first destination of the tour in Rajasthan. Enjoy the rustic charm of the area and transfer to your hotel on arrival in the town. Relax for some time and start the tour with visits to the mesmerizing havelis (mansions). Accompany a guide to explore the architectural beauty and magnificent decorations of these structures. Day 04 : Mandawa – Bikaner - Gajner (230Kms/5hrs)
Have breakfast and start the trip to Gajner. Fall in love with the golden sand dunes coming your way, stop at Bikaner. Visit the attractions like Karni Mata Temple (Rat temple) and Laxmi Niwas Palace. Don’t miss the world-famous Bikaneri snacks (locally called bhujia). Pay a visit to the Gajner Palace embanked on a peaceful lake. The red sandstone structure that once served as the royal hunting lodge has been converted into a lavish hotel. Have breakfast before starting the long drive to Jaisalmer, the Golden City popular for its changing hues with the journey of sun in the sky. Check in at hotel on arrival and relax for some time. Plan trips across the city of your own in the evening and have a relaxing night stay at hotel.
Day 06 : Jaisalmer
Visit the colossal Jaisalmer Fort after breakfast to witness the allure of this royal treasure. Later visit the beautiful Lodruwa Jain Temple, offering delightful appeal to the visitors. Also visit the Patwon ki haveli and Salim singh ki haveli. Enjoy being at Gadsar Lake that has numerous temples and tombs all around. Ride a camel to visit the Sam Dune in the evening and watch the fascinating view of sun setting behind the golden sand. Retire to your hotel room after dinner.
Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (300Kms/6hrs)
Enjoy breakfast and leave on a drive to Jodhpur. Check in at hotel in the city and get set for a trip to another spectacular Rajasthani fort. Mehrangarh Fort in the city is known for the highlights like Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Phool Mahal, each exquisitely decorated. Visit the nearby site of Jaswant Thada offering picturesque beauty of a lake and marble-made cenotaphs. Pay a brief visit to the Umaid Bhawan Palace before returning to hotel.
Day 08 : Jodhpur – Rohet Garh (40kms/1hr)
Have breakfast and start with the excursion to Rohet. Visit the quiet and charming Rohet Garh that today runs as a luxury hotel and restaurant. Later enjoy a jeep safari to the rustically captivating Bishnoi villages. Encounter desert animals including antelopes, black buck, blue bulls and various migratory birds in the area.
Day 09 : Rohet – Udaipur (250Kms/6hrs)
Have breakfast and join the drive to Udaipur. Make a brief stop at Ranakpur which is known for mysteriously beautiful Jain Temple. Explore the distinctive architecture of the four-faced temple known for its 1,444 pillars, each being different in design. Proceed to Udaipur and check in at hotel on arrival. Enjoy leisurely walks in the evening and retire to hotel for night stay.
Day 10 : Udaipur
Have breakfast and visit the City Palace complex offering eye-pleasing beauty. Get ready for a memorable exploration of magical mirror-work, paintings, inlay-work, colored glasses and other decoration elements of the palace’s balconies and pillars. Also visit the Jagdish Temple, Garden of Maidens and Folk Museum. After lunch enjoy the boat ride at Lake Pichola which accommodates small and beautiful islands (Jagmandir Island) and views of Lake Palace. Later visit the attractions like Saheliyon ki Badi and Sukhadia Circle before returning to hotel.
Day 11 : Udaipur – Shahpura (180kms/3hrs)
Finish breakfast and begin the excursion to Shahpura Bagh, a beautiful oasis amidst of the desert. Escape from the crowd and find peace exploring the gardens, pastures and lake at this place. Take part in walking, bird watching, boat riding and other enjoyable activities before returning to the hotel.
Day 12 : Shahpura Bagh – Jaipur (160kms/3hrs)
Start the trip to Jaipur, the final destination in Rajasthan. Check in at a heritage hotel and relax for few hours. Enjoy the sightseeing tour of the city in the afternoon and visit the attractions like Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds) and Jal Mahal. Later visit the City palace, accommodating a museum with astonishing royal collections. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Jaipur
Enjoy the whole day of wonderful sightseeing. Begin with a fun-filled elephant ride to reach the Amber Fort. Later visit the Jantar Mantar observatory. Explore the amazing marketplaces and purchase some great handmade items. Return to hotel for night stay.
Day 14 : Jaipur – Agra (250Kms/5hrs)
Check out from the hotel early morning and leave for Agra. Visit the marvelous red sandstone city complex of Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Explore the beautiful structures consisting of palaces, mosques, gateways and tombs. Proceed to Agra and check in at hotel on arrival. Late visit Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), the world-famous monument with eternal beauty. Also visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulla's Tomb, popularly known as the Baby Taj
before getting back to hotel.
Day 15 : Agra – Gwalior (130Kms/ 3hrs)
Have breakfast at hotel and start the trip to reach Gwalior. Check in at hotel and later visit the sprawling Gwalior Fort, a glorious spectator to numerous battles and historic events. The most important attractions within the fort complex include Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal (now this is an archaeological museum), Teli ka Mandir, Man Singh Palace and Sas-Bahu Temple. Later visit other city attractions like Sun Temple, Tomb of Gaus Mohammad , the Mausoleum of Tansen . and Gopachal Parvat Jain Statues Stay for night at hotel during classical India tour.
Day 16 : Gwalior – Orchha (120kms – 3hrs)
Bid farewell to Gwalior after breakfast and start the drive to Orchha. Check in at hotel and later visit the fort complex accommodating different palaces. Explore the beautiful temples dedicated to Lord Rama before relaxing at hotel.
Day 17 : Orchha – Khajuraho (180kms – 4hrs)
Pay morning visit to the remaining temples after breakfast. Check out from the hotel and drive to Khajuraho. Check in at hotel on arrival. Visit the local markets in the evening to buy brass and stone sculptures.
Day 18 : Khajuraho
Today is the day to explore the interesting art form of sculptured stones. The world famous Khajuraho temples were built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD. The most important are the Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishwanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples. Visit the Eastern group of temples that consist of the Parasvanath Temple - the only Jain Temple surviving at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum, the Javeri Temple dedicated to Vishnu. The other temples in this group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath . Enjoy the creative depiction of lovemaking, marriage, dance, music, plants and animals through these sculptures. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 19 : Khajuraho – Varanasi (FLY)
Relax after breakfast and transfer to airport in the noon. Board the flight to Varanasi and transfer to your hotel with our tour executive who will meet you at airport. Enjoy the fresh air at this ancient holy city that has been the centuries old center of education for the world. Pay visits to the holy ghats (banks) of River Ganges in the evening.
Day 20 : Varanasi
Wake up early morning for an entrancing boat ride at Ganges. Have great views of the river and its ghats. Join the morning aarti (prayer) and you may also wish to take a holy dip in the river. The two cremation ghats are Manikarnika & Harishchandra where funeral pyre burns day and night. Return to hotel for breakfast and continue with the city tour of classical India tour, later. Visit Vishwanath Temple, Kaal Bhairav Temple and Bharat Mata Temple and enjoy peaceful strolling across the ghats.
Day 21 : Varanasi - New Delhi by flight
Start the day with breakfast and visit the local markets for shopping. Silk dress materials and hand embroidered fabrics are the popular items. Transfer to the airport later to board the flight to New Delhi. Reach Delhi airport and transfer to your hotel with the assistance of our executive. Relax at hotel or plan small trip to the city’s malls.
Day 22 : Delhi Departure
Transfer to airport as per the flight schedule. Board the flight to reach your home destination.
