Karnataka Regional Museum

Mysore is home to the Regional Museum of Natural History. It is intended to highlight the abundant biodiversity of southern India. The museum's main goals are to raise awareness of the great biodiversity of the area and to support environmental education. Its purpose is to teach tourists, especially students, about southern India's natural history. The museum has two galleries, one on biological diversity and the other on life through the ages. The first gallery is all about the basic natural history ideas as well as the region's rich geological, botanical, and animal heritage, which are showcased in the Biological Diversity exhibition. And the second gallery is all about being presented in a dramatic fashion through a tunnel walk. The second gallery, Life through the Ages, chronicles the amazing tale of life on Earth from its primordial beginnings to the present day. One of the unique features of this museum is a garden for the disabled, which they named Touch, Feel, and Learn.
