Bandipur National park is situated in the Chamarajanagar district and it was founded in 1974 as a Project Tiger-related forest tiger reserve and it is famous for its tigers and the second highest tiger population in india.Bandipur National Park is regarded as one of India's most beautiful and well-known national parks. Bandipur National Park is spread across an approximate area of 874.2 square kilometres, amid the gorgeous surroundings of the majestic Western Ghat Mountains.
